Booking terms.

These terms apply to every booking made with UpkeepGo on this website, by phone or by text. Updated 2026-10-30.

1. The service. UpkeepGo provides the service you book, for the price shown at booking, through an independent partner pro working on a UpkeepGo work order. The scope is the description of the service and options you selected.
2. Price. The price shown is fixed if the home matches what you selected. If it doesn’t (for example, a three-storey house booked as a bungalow), we tell you the correct price before any work starts and you may cancel at no charge. Ottawa prices are in Canadian dollars before HST; Greater Boston prices are in US dollars, plus Massachusetts sales tax on supplied goods and rentals where it applies.
3. Payment. No deposit. You pay after the job by card from a secure link sent with the before-and-after photos. The spring + fall gutter plan covers two visits: the displayed total includes both and you pay the discounted per-visit amount after each completed visit. Selected add-ons apply to both visits.
4. Dates. The form saves a service request and your preferred week and time window. Your appointment is confirmed after we agree the date and assigned pro with you. Weather can move a visit; we offer the next free slot at the same price.
5. Cancellation. Free until 24 hours before the visit. Holiday-light packages are free to cancel until 72 hours before installation.
6. Guarantee. If something we did isn’t right, tell us within 7 days and we come back to fix it at no charge. If it still isn’t right, we refund the job.
7. Access and safety. You give access to the areas in the booking. Pros may decline unsafe work (ice, high wind, power lines, a roof or wall they can’t safely reach); you are not charged for work not done.
8. Electrical and gas. UpkeepGo does no electrical or gas work. Lights plug into existing outdoor GFCI outlets; TV mounting does not add or move outlets.
9. Holiday-light rental. Rented lights remain UpkeepGo’s or the partner’s property and are taken down in January.
